YEREVAN. - Armenian authorities respect the peaceful assembly of the citizens struggling against the energy price hike for already the fourth day, Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) press secretary Eduard Sharmazanov told Armenian News – NEWS.am following the RPA executive body session. He also said Armenia’s President is not for the price hike.

“Armenian authorities will do their best to ensure energy security. None of us wants electricity to become more expensive, neither the country’s president, nor me. No one wants that. This is a problem which relates to everyone - regardless of their position - and needs to be solved,” Sharmazanov said.

Eduard Sharmazanov welcomed their ‘sisters’ and ‘brothers’ struggling in Baghramyan Avenue, and highly appreciated the work of the police during the last days.
