Organization of the meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan is on the agenda of the OSCE Minsk Group, Co-Chair James Warlick said in an interview with Turan agency.

Both presidents said they want to meet each other and agreed to intensify dialogue, while the Minsk Group Co-Chairs will help in making the future meeting efficient.

The most important thing the Co-Chair realized during his mission as a mediator is that there should be no winning or losing party, only two winners. He is confident that the way out can be found in the Karabakh conflict that will serve the interests of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Mr. Warlick siad his message is that the principles and elements voiced by him during the presentation in Washington should be perceived as a whole package.

“One cannot chose one principle or an element that will serve your interests,” he emphasized.

At the same time the Co-Chair from U.S. is not confident that the talks reached a deadlock. The presidents met three times last year, he recalled, adding that there was progress.

Asked about the date of a meeting, the diplomat said the presidents are to decide, but expressed hope that it will take place this year.
