YEREVAN. - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolence to the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber III Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on occasion of the death of innocent victims and numerous wounded as a result of the terrorist act which took place in Kuwait’s Imam al-Sadeq Mosque, Armenian President press service reports.  

The terrorist act took place on June 26 during Friday prayers. A suicide bomber walked in the mosque and detonated his explosives, destroying walls and the ceiling.  

The Islamic State militant group (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the attack.
