YEREVAN. - Armenia marked today the Day of the Missing Participants of Karabakh War.  

On this occasion, the General Staff of Armenia’s Armed Forces and Defense Ministry, as well as the members of the Commission on POWs, Hostages and Missing People, fellow soldiers and representatives of NGOs visited Yerablur Memorial Complex, where they laid flowers.  

Addressing the participants, Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan stressed that as a result of Karabakh War, Armenian people managed to preserve their honor and right to live, as well as create in their homeland. He also said that unfortunately human losses are unavoidable during military actions, and there were missing people during the war, whose fate has been unknown up to now. According to Seyran Ohanyan, he and the Commission members did and are doing their best to ascertain the fates of the missing people.
