YEREVAN. - The activists protesting in Baghramyan Avenue announced that their demands and peaceful tactics haven’t changed. The announcement was made by the “No to Plunder” initiative member Narek Ayvazyan (photos).

“We, the participants of the roughly 2-week protest in Baghramyan Avenue, announce that our demands and peaceful tactics haven’t changed,” he said, presenting three demands, namely to cancel the decisions of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), punish the persons who used violence against the citizens on June 23 and reconsider the tariff.

Addressing the protestors, Narek Ayvazyan asked to be more united, apply direct democracy decisions, cerate groups and make proposals.“ Armenia, come to Baghramyan Avenue,” he said.

At the moment the members of the initiative are going to start discussions to determine their further steps.

The number of protestors in Baghramyan Avenue is incomparably small in contrast to the previous days. There is no human shield either: small number of politicians is standing between the protestors and police officers.
