YEREVAN. – By the decision of the President of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Galust Sahakyan, and at the initiative of the government, the NA will hold a special session on Thursday.

There will be one item on the session’s agenda: the agreement between the Governments of Armenia and Russia, and with respect to the Russian government’s provision of a state export loan to the Armenian government.

As reported earlier, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan chaired a special Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

And guided by the Constitution of Armenia, the government decided to motion to the President of the NA to convene a special parliament session on Thursday, and put but one matter on the session’s agenda: the ratification of the aforesaid agreement.

“I would like to remind [you] that this agreement refers solely to technico-military cooperation,” had noted the Government Chief of Staff-Minister, Davit Harutyunyan.
