YEREVAN. - The participants of the drama that took place in one of Yerevan’s maternity hospital had lived in city’s Davtashen district for several months.
Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent visited the house, where the couple lived and talked to the neighbors.
According to them, the couple wasn’t very sociable. The family lived with their mother-in-law, but was planning to move in July to their own flat, which is still being renovated.
“They lived peacefully, walked together in the evening, and they also had a small nice puppy. The girl is very kind and nice,” the neighbors said. According to them, the couple is from Odessa, got married there and moved to Yerevan. They were looking forward to their first-born.
A tragic event occurred Tuesday at the Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology. A man had come to the hospital, shot his wife who had given birth recently, and then committed suicide.
