YEREVAN. – The government will prepare audit parameters in July, Vache Gabrielyan, Deputy PM, Armenia’s Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

Asked whether it will be financial audit or a technical one, Gabrielyan said it's not just about that. He argues the government must answer the question whether the actions of energy market participants could affect the rate or not.

Most of the work will be held by state agencies responsible for the country's energy policy - the Ministry of Energy and Public Services Regulatory Commission.

“I think in July we will already have on hand prepared parameters for the future of the audit,” he said.

In a statement made on the sixth day of demonstrations in Yerevan, the Armenian leader said the government will absorb the electricity price hike before the end of evaluation conducted by an international company.
