YEREVAN. – The surgery of the woman—who was shot at the Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan—ended just recently at “Armenia” Republican Medical Center.
The patient was admitted to the medical center in critical condition.
The three-hour surgery was completed with success, and the physicians say the woman is in critical but stable condition.
However, she is still hooked up to an artificial respirator.
A tragic event occurred Tuesday at the Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology. A man had come to the hospital, shot his wife who had given birth recently, and killed himself.
We managed to find out that they live in Yerevan. The woman is Milena A., 27, and her husband, Hayk V., 33, had shot the woman in the neck.
