YEREVAN. - The situation in Yerevan’s Baghramyan Avenue is tense at the moment.

Police prohibited the protestors struggling against the electricity price hike to install loudspeakers, Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent reports.  This was followed by an argument.

The number of the police officers has grown. The law enforcement officers have advanced by a few meters, forming a barricade. Armenian Deputy Chief of Police Hunan Poghosyan - who is also here – urges the protestors to remove provocateurs from among them.

Yerevan Deputy Chief of Police along with the ‘angels’ tries to come up to the installed loudspeakers and seize them, but the protestors have formed a large row and don’t allow them to approach. The protestors scan: “Go away, go away.”
