YEREVAN. - Protestors in Yerevan’s Baghramyan Avenue demand to switch on the power in Writers’ Union building, from which they connect their loudspeakers. According to the activists, the power is switched off by the police.
Davit Sanasaryan, one of the sit-in coordinators and activists, told Armenian News – NEWS.am that they are going to make a very important announcement. “By that step the police provokes the people and makes them take more abrupt measures,” Sanasaryan said, adding they will consult with the citizens on those issues and decide on their actions.
He declined to elaborate on the details of the announcement, saying that it relates to their strategy and further steps.
Cases of switching off the power also occurred during the previous days, as reported by Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.
