World-famous Armenian French singer Charles Aznavour, 91, will take part in the celebrations dedicated to the Bastille Day, a National holiday in France, on July 14.

According to Nouvelles d'Arménie, Aznavour will take part in the ceremonies along with the French Senator and Mayor of Marseille Jean-Claude Gaudin, as well as Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, who will be Jean-Claude Gaudin’s guest of honor. Aznavour will stand with the two mayors on the tribune to watch the military parade. Besides, the song writer will accompany Richard Findykian, Deputy Mayor of the 9th and 10th arrondissements of Marseilles during a private party in the garden.

The French National Day, also known as Bastille Day, is marked on July 14. The day was established on July 6, 1880. On this day the solemn military parade is held in the Elysian Fields.
