European Union will hold a summit Tuesday to discuss situation in Greece after the referendum, President of the European Council Donald Tusk said.

“I have called a #EuroSummit Tuesday evening at 18h to discuss situation after referendum in #Greece,” he tweeted.

Earlier the request to hold a summit came from France and Germany.

According to the final results, 61.54 percent of voters rejected the proposal by creditors, and only 38.46 percent voted for.

The referendum results are expected to lead to euro depreciation and fall in European stock markets.
