YEREVAN. – Armenian police have offered demonstrators who have been holding a sit-in for already 14 days to open and clean Baghramyan Avenue together with police.

Deputy Chief of Armenia’s police Hunan Poghosyan offered to move protest action either to Liberty Square or pedestrian zone promising not to hinder the action.

Mr. Poghosyan said protesters’ demands are satisfactory, and police officers who used force against protesters and journalists will be held accountable.
