The name of the Russian opera singer Ljubov Kazrnovskaya will be included in the Azerbaijani MFA’s black list, Azerbaijani MFA spokesman Hikmet Hajiyev told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, opera singer and pedagogue Kazarnovskaya had visited Karabakh capital Stepenakert, where she held a master class in a musical college. According to the Armenian media, this wasn’t the singer’s first visit to Karabakh.

The list of foreigners, who are banned from entering Azerbaijan, includes people, who have visited without the consent of the Azerbaijani authorities the territories of the republic, including Karabakh, which Baku considers to be occupied by Armenia. The aforementioned list was published by the country’s MFA in 2013. Overall, it includes over 300 people.

“The Russian Singer Ljubov Kazarnovskaya violated the law on the state border of Azerbaijan by visiting the territory of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh. In connection with this her name will be included in the black list under a standard procedure,” Hajiyev said.
