YEREVAN. – The 12th research conference of the International Association of Genocide Scholars will be held in Yerevan from July 8 to 12.
The conference is titled “Comparative Analysis of 20th Century Genocides”.
Hayk Demoyan, director of the Armenian Genocide Museum Institute, said the museum continues holding cultural and scientific events that are somehow associated with the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.
The scholars are expected to present 130 reports during the conference, Demoyan said during a media conference on Tuesday.
The International Association of Genocide Scholars adopted a special statement to recognize the historical fact of the Armenian Genocide 15 years ago, Demoyan recalled.
