YEREVAN. - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan today attended the official opening of the largest centre of the ULS (Urban Logistic Services) company. Company representative Stanislav Zinchenko told Armenian News – NEWS.am that the terminal, located in the southern part of capital Yerevan, is capable of receiving both rail and motor transport.

“The overall capacity of our centre is 45,000 pallet positions. Therefore, we can receive up to 300 cargo vehicles daily. In the future this number may be increased up to 800-900,” he said.

Besides warehouse facilities (including deep and ordinary freeze chambers), the company is going to provide services to supermarket chains. “We already deliver them goods, but also conduct their pre-sale preparation, i.e. put excise labels, as well as tags in Armenian on imported goods, and, if necessary, do packaging. We are already cooperating with Carrefour and conduct talks with Yerevan City and other commodity networks,” Zinchenko said.
