YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations (MTAES), Armen Yeritsyan, today received Leonid Trishkin, head of the Armenian representation in Russia’s Federal Migration Service (FMS). This was Trishkin’s first visit to MTAES.

During the meeting Armenia’s and Russia’s cooperation issues and expected projects in migration area were discussed. Minister Yeritsyan attached special attention to the issue of Armenian citizens experiencing problems with entrance to Russia, especially those 173000 Armenian citizens who, being in the Russian territory, find it difficult to leave it because of future problems with entrance.

The issues on the legal status of the FMS representation in Armenia and that of MTAES in Russia respectively were also discussed.  

Minister Armen Yeritsyan and Leonid Trishkin agreed to prepare joint measures and solutions over the issues discussed.
