Soldiers from the US, Poland, Romania, and Georgia are participating in military exercises in Moldova, informed the latter’s ministry of defense.

The “Efort comun 2015” maneuvers are held at the polygon of Bălți city.

“The soldiers will develop joint actions, exchange knowhow, and check the compatibility of the types of weapons,” the respective statement reads, reported TASS news agency of Russia.

In addition, the US military force will give instructions to their Moldovan counterparts on the use of mortar weaponry. 

Most of the military exercises will be held under the auspices of NATO.
