YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Monday at 11:50pm.

Accordingly, a car accident had occurred in Nerkin Dvin village in the Ararat Province, and rescuers were needed.

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a vehicle—with driver N. M., 26—had gone off road in the aforesaid village—and for yet unknown reasons—, and crashed into a truck trailer that was parked on the roadside.

Prior to the fire and rescue workers’ arrival at the scene, however, the driver was taken to “Erebouni” Medical Center, in capital city Yerevan, with an ambulance.

Doctors say the patient is in critical condition.
