YEREVAN. - Withdrawal from night flights and switch of the civil aviation to daily schedule will impact the price of tickets, an expert who wished to remain unknown told Armenian News – NEWS.am, commenting on the statement of Armenia’s PM Hovik Abrahamyan regarding the necessity to shift the flights to Armenia to more convenient hours.

According to the expert, the night rates of airports are usually lower, and hence the night flights are cheaper. Therefore, switching to daily schedule will inevitably impact the cost of tickets.

According to the PM, many international flights are performed at night, which creates inconveniencies for those who arrive, including tourists. Abrahamyan instructed a number of agencies to start talks with airline companies in order to solve the issue. General Department of Armenia’s Civil Aviation stated of the necessity to discuss the issue with foreign airline companies.

Considering that Armenia’s Zvartnots Airport is the most comfortable but also the most expensive one in the region, greater comfort and costliness will await the passengers.
