YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia has developed a method for calculating the economic potential of the country’s regions. 

The relevant decision was adopted at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting. 

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations is the creator of this method. 

Accordingly, the mineral, energy and water resources of a given region will be taken as baseline data.

The respective assessment will help prepare investment projects based on the real chances of their implementation in a given region in Armenia.
