YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 479.17/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is down by AMD 0.77 from Wednesday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 526.85 (up by AMD 2.08), that of one British pound was AMD 748.03 (down by AMD 1.30), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.33 (down by AMD 0.07), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.
One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 227.7, AMD 16,770.61 and AMD 14,851.07, respectively.
Thursday’s trading totaled USD 900,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, and the transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 478.25/$1.
