STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh), Bako Sahakyan, on Friday visited Nor Seysulan village in the Martakert Region.

First, Sahakyan laid a wreath at the monument commemorating those that have fallen in the Karabakh War.

Subsequently, the Artsakh President attended the official opening of a new kindergarten in the village.

Sahakyan noted that widening the network of preschool institutions in the country’s regions is a priority of the state, and everything possible will be done to have kindergartens that meet the present-day conditions in rural areas.

The President also expressed his gratitude to Russia-based Armenian philanthropist Vahagn Khachatryan for implementing such projects, and added that Khachatryan’s constant assistance to his native village is an exemplary manifestation of patriotism.

NKR Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan and several other officials accompanied President Bako Sahakyan.
