STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 900 times, from July 19 to 25.

During this time, Azerbaijan fired more than 12,000 shots in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, mine throwers and grenade launchers, reported the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army.

The vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, adequately responded to Azerbaijan’s actions, and took necessary steps to reliably defend the Armenian military positions along the entire Line of Contact, informed the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense.

The NKR Defense Army suffered no casualties in the ceasefire violations that were recorded during the week.

The Azerbaijani websites report, however, that the Azerbaijan army has at least one casualty and eight injured.
