15 ha of grassy territory have been burnt down in Yerevan’s Botanical Garden after a fire broke out there today, Armenia’s Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Ministry press-service reports.  

The fire department was alerted at 12.50. Six fire brigades and National Crisis Management Centre operative groups left for the scene. Three more fire brigades joined them later.

Finally, the fire was put out.

The reason of the fire is not known yet.
