Information was received on Sunday at 9:12pm.

Accordingly, a tractor had fallen into a gorge in Vardablur village in the Lori Province of Armenia, and rescuers were needed.

A fire and rescue squad as well as a provincial rescue team were dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a tractor—with driver S. V., 67—had gone off a field road and rolled into the adjacent valley.

The fire and rescue workers—together with the Red Cross rapid response team in Koghes village—conducted a search until Monday at 3:04am.

Subsequently, search operations were suspended because of the darkness.

At 4:18am, a provincial rescue center squad also came to the assistance.

The search resumed at 7am.

As a result, the tractor was discovered, and S. V. was found dead inside the vehicle.
