Information was received on Sunday at 9:12pm.
Accordingly, a tractor had fallen into a gorge in Vardablur village in the Lori Province of Armenia, and rescuers were needed.
A fire and rescue squad as well as a provincial rescue team were dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that a tractor—with driver S. V., 67—had gone off a field road and rolled into the adjacent valley.
The fire and rescue workers—together with the Red Cross rapid response team in Koghes village—conducted a search until Monday at 3:04am.
Subsequently, search operations were suspended because of the darkness.
At 4:18am, a provincial rescue center squad also came to the assistance.
The search resumed at 7am.
As a result, the tractor was discovered, and S. V. was found dead inside the vehicle.
