YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 477.90/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is up by AMD 0.05 from the previous day.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 529.27 (up by AMD 6.69), that of one British pound was AMD 741.56 (up by AMD 2.09), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.03 (down by AMD 0.18), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.
One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 222.64, AMD 16,606.32 and AMD 15,042.18, respectively.
Monday’s trading totaled USD 3.2 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 478.31/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 478.5/$1.
