The family of Armenia’s Syunik province governor Surik Khachatryan is ready to pay any amount for recovering the damage to the health of Mushegh and Harutyun Zakharyan, the victims in the case of fight in Armenia’s Gyumri city, Armen Melkonyan, the attorney of Tigran Khachatryan, son of the governor, told Armenian News – NEWS.am in Yerevan’s General Jurisdiction Court of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts.  He insists that his client hasn’t been involved in the fight.

“Regardless of whether the Khachatryans had any involvement or not, they have proposed material assistance to the injured party,” the attorney said.

The attorney also expressed hope that considering the evidence submitted by them, the court will not grant a motion on the arrest of Tigran Khachatryan.
