On August 19, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his spouse Svetlana Medvedeva will arrive on a state visit to Armenia at the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

The Russian President intends to lay a wreath at the memorial to Armenian Genocide victims (Tsitsernakaberd), RA Presidential press service informed NEWS.am. On the same day Armenian President will give an official dinner in honor of Dmitry Medvedev.

The August 22 private meeting of the Presidents will be followed by the enlarged talks.

The sides will sign a number of agreements and treaties on strengthening and development of the Armenian-Russian strategic cooperation. The Presidents also intend to give a joint press conference.  

Dmitry Medvedev and Serzh Sargsyan will also participate in the solemn opening of the Hill of Honor military cemetery in Gyumri.

Dmitry Medvedev will participate in an informal CSTO summit held on August 21-22.
