YEREVAN. – The Armenian government held a regular meeting of the council supporting development of information technologies.

The Council was presented a project entitled “Armenian ICT European Expedition: Auto Rally Across Europe” that will bring together representatives of around 60 Armenian companies. The Armenian delegation is set to visit 23 European cities, including Brussels, Berlin, Marseille, Warsaw, Prague and Sofia, to present the potential and innovation opportunities of the Armenian IT sector, to study new markets for possible cooperation as well as the experience of European countries. The project planned for this fall will last 45 days.

Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan instructed the concerned agencies to set up a working group that will hold a detailed discussion of the moves necessary for training of staff and will present relevant proposals.
