European combat sambo champion Ashot Danielyan (74 kg) from Nagorno-Karabakh won an international sambo tournament for the prize of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev held in Uralsk (Kazakhstan) on August 13-16.
The tournament held in Kazakhstan is one of the stages of the sambo world cup, Armenian Sambo Federation informed NEWS.am.
The event hosted sportsmen from Russia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Korea, Japan, Greece and Venezuela.
