A monument to the First Mayor of Chernivtsi, Ukraine, Jakob von Petrovich, who is of Armenian origin, was unveiled in the city.

The monument was installed to mark the 200th anniversary of Von Petrovich.

The event brought together city residents, and representatives of the Armenian communities from various oblasts (provinces), reported AnalitikaUA.net.
