YEREVAN. – There is no delay in new talks between EU and Armenia, Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan told reporters on Thursday.
The European Commission will have a mandate for talks after getting consent of all 28 EU member states.
“This will take time, since consensus decisions requiring consent of each country, as a rule, are delayed for some time. On the whole there is a positive dynamic in Armenia-EU relations,” Kocharyan said.
During his recent visit to Armenia, European Council president Donald Tusk said the early talks on a new comprehensive agreement are over.
