YEREVAN. – The higher education system of Armenia has become much closer to the European model of education and is included in the European educational space, Education Minister Armen Ashotyan said during his meeting with Iraqi Kurdistan Minister on Planning Ali Sindi.

Minister Sindi presented the educational system of Iraqi Kurdistan, and noted that the main purpose of his visit is to find a framework for cooperation in the field of education.

Presenting the educational system of Armenia, Minister Ashotyan noted that, being based on the Soviet model of education, our education system has recently been upgraded and reformed substantially.
