Presidents of Russia and Turkey may meet till the end of November in Kazan, Turkish Ambassador in Moscow said.

The Russian and Turkish leaders meet every year in different formats, including on the margins of the high-level cooperation council between Turkey and Russia, Umit Yrdim said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

One of the key issues on the agenda is construction of the Turkish Stream gas project, he confirmed.

The envoy did not rule out there might be other reason “for an earlier meeting” that may take place before President Erdogan’s visit to Kazan.
