YEREVAN. - Armenian will start implementing the new goals of sustainable development, Armenia’s PM, Chairman of the National Council of Sustainable Development said at the council session.  

Summing up the results of the implementation of 8 Millennium Development Goals this year, Armenia along with other UN members will start implementing more ambitious programs. After the adoption of post-2015 goals in September 2015, Armenia is eager to localize them and contribute to their implementation.

The PM underscored the necessity of tolerance and cooperation between the government and the society. “It’s necessary to sit at the table and discuss the issues together to give them common solutions. This is the only constitutional way of solving the issues,” Abrahamyan said.
