Turkey should not attack on the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The aforesaid is written in a letter addressed to French President François Hollande by the National Secretary of the French Communist Party, Pierre Laurent.

In the letter, Laurent calls upon the French leader to see to it that Turkey stops its military operations against the PKK, and returns to negotiations with it, reported L’Humanité daily of France.  

“This [i.e. Turkey’s military strikes on the PKK positions in Iraq and Syria] is a violation of the ceasefire agreement, which was reached in 2013 at the PKK’s initiative. Such actions are unacceptable, and should be strongly condemned,” Pierre Laurent specifically noted in the letter.
