YEREVAN. – The “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia disseminated information on Wednesday at 11:38am.
Accordingly, a 3.6-magnitude earthquake had occurred, at 11:17am local time, on the Georgia-Turkey border, and it measured magnitude 5 at the epicenter.
The hypocenter of this tremor was 10 km beneath the surface, reported the ministry.
The seismic activity, however, was not felt in Armenia.
