YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Wednesday chaired a discussion devoted to the ongoing reforms in Armenia’s aviation sector.

The event brought together representatives from international donor organizations, the Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) Foundation, and relevant agencies of the country. 

The discussants reflected on the Armenian government’s “open skies” policy, and conferred on the future respective joint steps.  

Abrahamyan underscored the donor community’s further assistance toward the continuity of the reforms in Armenia’s aviation sector.

Representatives of the international donor organizations, for their part, highly praised the Armenian government’s steps aimed at promoting tourism and developing aviation in the country. They also expressed readiness to assist Armenia’s executive branch of power in implementing the respective reforms.

The PM, in turn, thanked the representatives from international donor organizations for their willingness to assist the Armenian government. He also assured that they will be consistent in implementing the relevant agreements.
