YEREVAN. – The survey conducted in Armenia shows 54 percent of respondents believe in justice on Valery Permjakov’s case.

According to the survey, 37% believe that the trial will be rather fair, while 17% said it will be clearly fair.

The public opinion poll was conducted by the Armenian Marketing Association NGO representing the Gallup network in Armenia. The survey was conducted among 1,106 people in Yerevan and regions on July 6-13.

Head of the organization Aram Navasardyan said 19% and 10% are inclined to believe that the process will be more unfair and clearly unfair, and 17% are undecided.

The Russian court sentenced Valery Permyakov, who brutally killed 6 members of Avetisyan family in Armenia’s Gyumri city, to ten years of imprisonment in a tight institution without penalties and on an unrestricted basis.
