YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily has learned that Armenia’s First Lady Rita Sargsyan, recently visiting again her friend, Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, “scolded” the Ministry of Agriculture, reported the daily.

“As is known, numerous ministries[, including the Ministries of Culture and Agriculture,] are located on different floors of Government Building 3. [And] the red-carpet-covered way leading from the service entry all the way to the ‘ministerial elevators’ passes through the area of a department of the Ministry of Agriculture.

“Zhoghovurd has learned that when Rita Sargsyan saw the dirty carpet [along the way], she made a particular reprimand to those in charge. But since the visit was on Saturday, those in charge justified [by saying] that it is a non-working day, [and therefore] the janitors have not come [to work],” wrote Zhoghovurd.
