Matthew Karanian, the author of ‘Historic Armenia After 100 Years,’ will present his new book in Canada during a three-day city tour in the country in September.
The tour will be held under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada, and will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The premiere Canada event will be held on September 11 at the Tekeyan Center in Quebec, Asbarez reports.
Karanian will also speak on September 12 at the Armenian Embassy in Ottawa.
The concluding event is scheduled on September 13 at the Armenian Community Center in Toronto.
The presentation of the English version of Matthew Karanian’s book ‘Historic Armenia After 100 Years’ took place under the auspices of Armenia’s Ambassador to the U.S Tigran Sargsyan on April 10 in the United States. The book includes 125 photos taken by Karanian in former Armenian cities of Van, Ani, Kars and other historic sites in the Western Armenia, as well as the history of those photos.
