YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday received outgoing Ukrainian Ambassador Ivan Kukhta.

President Sargsyan thanked Mr. Kukhta for his efforts into strengthening of Armenian-Ukrainian friendship.

President and Ambassador agreed that Armenia has a respectful attitude towards the Ukrainian people and the state. The Ambassador noted with gratitude that witnessed this attention and care during a recent meeting with the Ukrainian community. He assured that the same attitude is expressed by active Armenian community of Ukraine.

The sides expressed their hope for an early restoration of peace in Ukraine, which will create new opportunities for the disclosure of the great potential of the Armenian-Ukrainian cooperation.
