A tragic incident occurred Tuesday in Arbat village in the Ararat Province of Armenia, as a little girl died en route to hospital.

Head of the capital city Yerevan’s Surb Astvatsamayr (Holy Mother of God) Medical Center Intensive Care Unit, Anna Chobanyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that Tamara Hakobyan, 5, had sustained chest injuries, and the girl was already dead when she was brought to the hospital.

“The parents said the TV had fallen on her,” added Chobanyan. “The child’s dead body was sent to forensic examination.”

Arbat village mayor Arayik Petrosyan, speaking to Armenian News-NEWS.am, likewise stated that according to preliminary information, the little girl had carelessly dropped the TV on herself and sustained a fatal injury.
