YEREVAN. - Rafael, brother of Lilit Gevogyan, 16, who had left Armenia for U.S to take part in an exchange program and died in a recent accident, will today leave for U.S. to bring home the corpse of his sister.

Neighbors of Lilit Gevorgyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that Lilit’s corpse will be transported to Armenia from the U.S. in most probably 20 days, and she will be buried in Armenia’s Armavir town.

Lilit Gevorgyan was from Armavir town of Armenia’s Armavir province. She was the youngest child in her family. Lilit’s brother and sister are married.

The girl was studying at the town’s High School N 1 with excellent performance. She left for the U.S. 10 days ago, and was to live and study there for one year.

Lilit Gevorgyan died in an accident in Texas. At the moment of the accident the 16-year -old girl was riding a quad. Lilit reportedly lost control of the car when riding on the hill. She died later at a hospital.
