YEREVAN. – Strengthening of Iran's position will cause negative reaction from Turkey, historical difference of the two countries will be uncovered, Director of the Institute of Orientology of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, turkologist Ruben Safrastyan said.

As soon as the sanctions are lifted, Iran will start to develop the accumulated potential.

“If the peace process continues, and I am 100 percent sure of it, Iran will become one of the key centers of the Middle East, if not the most important one,” Safrastyan added.

The deal between Tehran and the six world powers was reached in Vienna on July 14.

Iran is supposed to drastically reduce the stock of low-enriched uranium, as well as dismantle some key nuclear facilities, such as heavy water reactor in Arak and Fordow underground enrichment plant.

In return, the EU and the U.S. will lift oil embargo and other trading limitations, as well as will allow Iran to access to Swift electronic banking system.
