YEREVAN. – Belarus’ new Ambassador to Armenia, Igor Nazaruk, on Friday presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

First, the President congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

Sargsyan stressed that Armenia-Belarus relations develop in all domains and include cooperation. The President also expressed the hope that the newly appointed ambassador will exert efforts to make full use of the great potential of cooperation between the two countries, especially in economy.

The interlocutors expressed a conviction that Armenia’s engagement in the Eurasian integration processes will enable to enrich the agenda of Armenian-Belarusian collaboration, too.

Ambassador Nazaruk, for his part, assured that he will make maximum efforts—during his tenure—to strengthen and develop Armenian-Belarusian partnership.
