YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Friday received outgoing Egypt’s Ambassador Mohamed Alaa Eldin Saad El Leissy.

President thanked the diplomat for his contribution to the development of relations between Armenia and Egypt, noting that the bilateral agenda had been expanded significantly and numerous meetings of the presidents and prime ministers had been held.

Ambassador, for his part, thanked the Armenian leader and said that  he had done everything possible for the development of bilateral ties over 4.5 years, and now is leaving the country “being a friend of Armenia.”
