YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Saturday met with the representatives of the Public Council.
The meeting was a part of political consultations on constitutional reforms that were launched by the president earlier this week.
President Sargsyan has already met with the representatives of Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Orinats Yerkir, Free Democrats, Pan-Armenian National Movement and Christian Democratic Union.
Heritage party rejected an invitation explaining it by unwillingness to accept their proposals. The Armenian National Congress did not accept an invitation because they believe the goal of constitutional reforms is “reproduction of power”.
